Closely related to sculpture art and architecture , Ceramics  has a  long  history . Today , it has  been used in space crafts  and  other  industry too . Researches  shows  its  ancient  glories  but never stop to explain its brilliant  values  in science . Doctrines of  Modern Art as well as traditional painting  have been found their roles in   ceramic art . Such as figures of fables , religion , poem , pattern of custom  tokens always highlight    ceramics and give excellent examples  .  Usually  hand casting value higher  than  model  casting  is because that the latter reduce creation possibilities , giving more difficult to  fulfill the aims of  artists   .
The goal of new Taipei Ceramic Museum  is  to introduce  contemporary ceramics  ,  future aspirations  ,  kiln models , clay samples and  glazes types  . It is for the young generation. , located in  Yingge .  Other workshops  affording D.I.Y. lessons for visitors can be found in 苗栗 and.other  ceramic schools in Taiwan too .
